Senior Manager, Sales

We're looking for a senior sales manager that will be responsible for sales target attainment within the renewables construction business unit, sales team management, and client experience. Our ideal candidate for this role will be someone who cares deeply about our clients in the renewables industry and who enjoys working cross-functionally on their behalf. They will also be a strong leader in developing our sales executives and holding the team accountable.

Job description

  • Managing a team of 4-8 Sales Executives with deep industry expertise as they sell across multiple cities across the U.S.

  • Taking accountability for the region and team in reaching monthly and quarterly sales targets

  • Partnering with our Central Client Operations teams to close deals and speed up onboarding to create positive client outcomes

  • Driving client & sales team adoption of new platforms, processes, and technologies

  • Develop strategy to drive more sales activity and establish KPIs to hold the sales team accountable

  • Working to continuously improve the sales team’s sales skills and industry knowledge to win more business

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, product, compliance, legal, and others to provide visibility to sales forecast and opportunities to improve value to our clients

  • First-rate interpersonal skills, to communicate effectively (in writing and verbally) with clients and team members

  • Ability to develop and maintain positive client relationships

  • 10+ Years in Construction/Skilled Trades/Industrial Sales

  • 5+ years of sales management experience
